Columbus IN Focus!

I stole this from the Facebook event Karl made but I'm bored at work and want to invite EVERYONE to come out to the Wexner Center Tuesday Sept. 25th at 6:30.

Here's the description:
Columbus in Focus
(Karl Baumann and Aaron Covington, 2007)

Tue, Sep 25, 2007 | 7:00PM
Film/Video Theater

Produced by Ohio State students, Columbus in Focus examines the history of film production at the university and in the city, from the heyday of OSU’s Department of Photography and Cinema as one of the strongest programs in the country, through the department’s disbanding, and up to the present, when filmmaking is enjoying a campus resurgence through endeavors like Reel Buckeye Productions, a student-organized production effort inspired in part by HBO's Project Greenlight.

The film was originally intended to be a “behind-the-scenes” documentary chronicling the production of 3 Easy Payments, Reel Buckeye’s first film project, in 2006. It expanded to explore not only filmmaking at OSU but the state of Columbus’s filmmaking scene and the new possibilities presented by digital video and the Internet. (75 mins., video)

check it out on facebook too :

So come on down and have a good time and at the beginning there will be local video/film work up and at the end of the film there are some other video/film work (ps one is mine!!)

See ya there!
